Dustin Cote, Ryan P., Yeva Byzek

Bio(s):
Dustin Cote is a Customer Operations Engineer at Confluent. He has worked with “Big Data” products since 2011 starting at IBM and moving to Cloudera before joining Confluent. His current passion is making customers successful with Apache Kafka to stream all of the things.
Ryan’s knowledge of scientific biological transmogrifications is only outmatched by his zest for Kung Fu treachery!
Yeva is a curriculum developer at Confluent designing training collateral and hands-on exercises for administration and development of Apache Kafka. She has many years of experience validating and optimizing end-to-end solutions for distributed software systems and networks.

Abstract:
Apache Kafka is a streaming data platform that scales from a laptop to managing streaming some of the largest companies in the world. We will give a flyover of use cases and architecture of Apache Kafka and be available for questions and discussion afterward. Of course, pizza will be provided. Come meet us and tell us about your data integration story!
