Bring Your Own Picnic - Bond Park (Cary, NC)

Let's have a picnic in the park. PLEASE REVIEW ALL DETAILS BELOW.
WHAT TO BRING:

• Your own food (no food will be provided)
• Bring a chair or a blanket to sit by the lake.

PARKING:
If parking is full around the Boathouse and you need to park in one of the lots off Metro Park Drive instead, take the Paw Paw Trail and at the Trail Head Kiosk, turn right to stay on Paw Paw Trail/White Oak Creek Greenway.

WHERE WE WILL MEET:
Please also see the map pictured in the Photos area of this event. When you come into the Bond Lake boathouse parking lot, we plan to be in the area over on the RIGHT side of the lake if you are facing the lake (go right as if you were going to walk around the lake). Here are more detailed instructions to walk to get there:

• From the parking lot where the Bond Park Boathouse is:

• Take the Black Creek Greenway (paved) towards the right side of the lake. Go past the Amphitheatre.

• When you get to the Trail Head Kiosk, which is a big map, go left on Paw-Paw Trail/White Oak Greek Greenway and there will be an open grassy area where you can see the lake on the left. This is where we will plan to meet.

• Important Note: if another group is already here, we’ll meet just on the other side of the paved trail in the big wide open Multi-Use Field.
