A Summer Pool Party & Karaoke Social for GBTQ Men
Come join us for an afternoon of music, laughter, food, swimming and connection.
Hosted by men from the Triangle Gay Men's Tantra Group and the ManKind Project (MKP) Triangle GBTQ Men's Group, this gathering is designed for GBTQ men who are interested in building meaningful friendships, strengthening community and exploring authentic connection.
For those new to these communities, Men's Work is the practice of looking within to live with greater integrity, authenticity, emotional intelligence, and purpose. It is about becoming the best version of ourselves while deepening our connections with others.
Tantra is a path of expanding consciousness, transforming and liberating desire, and spiritual awakening. While sexuality can be one aspect of some Tantric traditions, Tantra is fundamentally about presence and integrating the head, heart, body, and soul.
While there will be opportunities to learn more about Tantra and Men's Work through conversation, there is no formal program, workshop, or agenda. This is simply a chance to relax, enjoy one another's company, and build community.

- Hot dogs
- All the fixings

We'll also provide complimentary wine with the meal, including alcohol-free wine.

A Body-Positive Environment
This is a body-positive gathering where all levels of comfort with clothing are respected.
Nudity and skinny dipping are welcome for those who choose, while others may prefer swimsuits or remaining fully clothed. Whatever your comfort level, your choices will be respected without judgment. Our intention is to create an atmosphere where every man feels accepted exactly as he is.
Community Agreements
To help create a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone, we ask that you honor the following:
- This is intended to be a drug-free and sex-free social gathering.
- Aside from the complimentary wine served with the meal, please do not bring alcohol or any mind- or mood-altering substances.
- Come ready to relax, connect, laugh, sing, and enjoy the company of other men.
- Please respect the personal boundaries, privacy, and comfort of every guest.
Suggested Donation
To help offset the cost of food, beverages, and hosting, we encourage a $20 donation, if you're able. Your generosity is appreciated, but it is not required, and no man will be turned away because of an inability or decision not to contribute.
