# Movie Night: Welcome to the Men's Group

Thursday, October 29, 2026 | 7:00–9:45 PM
Private location in Durham, NC
Ever wonder what happens when a group of men gets together to talk about life, relationships, and everything in between? Join us for a relaxed movie night with the ManKind Project Open Men’s Group!

We’ll be watching Welcome to the Men's Group, a comedy-drama that takes us inside a men's support group, where honest conversations, unexpected revelations, old resentments, and complicated male dynamics unfold. Expect some laughs, some recognition, and maybe a few moments that hit a little close to home!

🍿 What to Expect

  • Check-in: We'll make time before the movie to introduce ourselves and check in with the group.
  • Movie time: Sit back, relax, and enjoy the film.
  • Popcorn and beverages: Refreshments will be available, and feel free to bring your favorite snack.
  • Good company: Connect with other GBTQ+ men in a welcoming and affirming space.

Whether you're already part of our GBTQ+ Open Men's Group, have attended a ManKind Project training, or are simply curious about what we do, you're welcome to join us. This is an opportunity to connect with other local men, enjoy a movie, and share a few laughs without any pressure to participate beyond what feels comfortable for you.

📍 Location & RSVP
To help us maintain a safe and intentional space, the meeting location is listed as private. Please RSVP through Meetup. After you join or RSVP, we'll send you the location details. Spoiler Alert - It is in South Durham, near I-40 and Fayetteville Road.

🕘 Timing
We'll begin at 7:00 PM with our check-in before starting the movie. The film runs approximately 2 hours and 10 minutes, so plan for the evening to wrap up around 9:30–9:45 PM. AND - you can leave early or whenever it is best for you.

Come as you are, bring your curiosity, and join us for a fun evening with other men. Feel free to bring your favorite snack.

Popcorn, a good movie, and good men — what more could you want for? (Randy - this is a rhetorical question. Behave yourself!)

We look forward to seeing you!
