Fuquay Mineral Spring Park

Details
Fuquay Mineral Spring Park
105 West Spring Street, Fuquay-Varina, NC 27526
Saturday September 20, 2025, 10am to 12pm
This is a new location for our group. Street parking is available on the streets behind the park, and you can also utilize the town administrative offices parking lot, which overlooks the park. Also, there are no public restrooms, so plan ahead. There are restaurants along S Main St, as well as a Cat Cafe.
Fuquay-Varina Town website says "Fuquay Mineral Spring was discovered in the Spring of 1858 by Davey Crocket Fuquay and Stephen Fuquay while plowing on their father's farm. The Mineral Spring was believed to have healing powers and visitors came from far and wide to partake of the mineral waters. Fuquay Mineral Spring Park offers an easily accessible open space with a restored Springhouse, memorial brick path, picnic tables, footbridge, administrative offices, and finely manicured landscaping."
If you can't see my big pink hat when you arrive shoot me a message so we can find each other.
