What we’re about
Hi there and congratulations! Out of the dozens of book clubs in the Triangle area, you've stumbled on this one. Now you may be wondering, what's so special about this group anyways? ... Probably not much! This is just a fun excuse for me to read the many random books that have gathered dust on my book shelves and to do so with wonderful people like yourself!
This is a spinoff of the Triangle Psychology/Neuroscience Book Club (Check it out: https://www.meetup.com/triangle-psych/)
Rather than rebrand that more focused club, I wanted to create a space where a more eclectic set of book choices are welcome.
Beyond just book club meetings, this group will host writing sessions, "read togethers", volunteer events, and more.
As a rather recent transplant to the Raleigh area, I have found an exceptional community through meetup, and hope to foster the same welcoming atmosphere here.
