What we’re about
This group aims to sponsor refugees for settlement in the Raleigh area and provide support during their first 90 days through the formation of private sponsor groups. Five individuals are required to form & register a group for sponsorship. No financial contribution is required and you will not have to do any fundraising. We will be working under the Welcome Corps.
The Welcome Corps is a new program that empowers everyday Americans to come together to privately sponsor refugees, building on our country’s long tradition of providing refuge. Sponsoring together with friends, coworkers, congregation members—anyone in your community—makes the work easier and can be deeply rewarding for everyone involved.
