Lake Day! Fantasy Lake & Lunch at Bud's Tavern

Hi everyone!

I’m planning ahead so I can get ready to rock a swimsuit! 😄 Let’s hit Fantasy Lake Adventure Park in Wake Forest — it’s a natural lake with a floating water park, perfect for summer fun.

🕚 Swim Session: Saturday, July 12 | 11:30 AM – 1:30 PM

💵 Cost: $40
⚠️ Tickets are non-refundable unless the park closes due to storms (they do not close for light rain).

🧾 What to Know:
• Arrive by 11:00 AM to check in and sign the waiver
• I’ll post where I’m at by 11:30 so we can all say hello!
• Coolers with food/drinks are allowed (no alcohol; subject to inspection)
• Light concessions (snacks, drinks, ice cream) available
• No outside music allowed
• Lockers available to rent (fee not listed)
• Showers and changing areas available
• Bring sunscreen, towel, and flip flops!

They also rent AquaBanas — huge floating rafts for up to 8 people — they’re $75 for 2 hours and super fun! (I got one lol.)

🍔 After Swimming: Late Lunch Meet @ Bud’s Tavern (2pm-ish)
Once we rinse off, we’ll head over to Bud’s Tavern in Youngsville (10–15 min drive).
They’ve got:
• A large outdoor area
• Casual cookout-style food (burgers, fries, etc.)
• A biker-bar vibe with live music some weekends
• No dress code — wet hair and flip flops welcome 😎
You might want to bring a chair in case seating fills up.

If you only want to meet us at Bud's Tavern for lunch, I expect we will arrive around 2pm or so. I'll post when I get there.
