Kick off the New Year with something fun, exciting, and totally different — a Raleigh Treasure Hunt through Downtown landmarks, parks, and hidden gems!
This is our first official treasure hunt event, and we’re starting it off with mystery, competition, and multiple chances to win cash prizes of $50 to $100.
$25 ticket → helps build the prize pot + keeps the group funded for future treasure hunts.
What You’ll Do
Participants will follow a series of clues, puzzles, and location challenges that take you on foot through:
- Downtown Raleigh
- A mix of well-known landmarks
- Interesting side streets
- Local parks
- Small hidden gems you may have never noticed
Every clue leads you closer to one of the cash prize locations.
You can come solo or with a friend — either way, be ready to explore, think fast, and have fun!
Cash Prizes
Your $25 ticket helps build the winner’s prize pot, which will be split into multiple cash prizes so more than one person has a chance to win.
Examples include:
- One $100 prize
- Two $50 prizes
- Or several smaller prizes placed at different stops
(Exact prize distribution depends on total ticket sales.)
Why There’s a Ticket Fee
Your ticket cost is used for:
- Funding the prize money
- Helping cover the yearly Meetup group membership fee
- Supporting materials and future treasure hunt events
