Directions to workshop room: The right place to park is the Venture Deck. Go in the middle entrance (there are 3) to park in the Visitor area. After parking, walk to 940 ('Venture I') and take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. Someone will meet you in the lobby to sign you in and escort you to the meeting room (just off the lobby).

Join us in an interactive, immersive learning experience! Often, great teams are fun to be on. Work does not have to mean tension, stress, and headaches. Think about it. When were you last highly productive, clear-minded, creative, and feeling positive about yourself and teammates? Probably, it was when you were on a great team.

We now know the secret about why some teams are high performance with happy team members. Great teams no longer need to be a matter of chance, like a lightning strike. They can be developed.

• Why team psychological safety is important for Women In Agile;

• An introduction to how you can help foster team psychological safety as Women In Agile.

David Gentry will be the presenter. David J. Gentry, PMI-ACP, PMP, CSPO, CSM, SAFe 4 Certified Agilist, has a strong background in business, marketing, and product development. He has worked in the financial services, travel, and internet industries, and he has been a consultant in those industries, also.

David has spoken on or presented workshops on team psychological safety, organizational culture change, the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), managing stakeholders, leadership, resume writing and employment interviewing, exam preparation classes for the Project Management Professional (PMP) credential, emotional intelligence, personal branding for success, and composing a product owner manifesto.
