🦪 Oysters are (still) nature’s Cleanup Crew!

We are back on shell detail. 🌊

After folks enjoy their oysters at The Raleigh Oyster Fest, those shells will be collected, saved, and reused to help restore oyster reefs along the North Carolina coast. These reefs filter water, create habitat for marine life, and naturally help clean our waterways — they’re the ocean’s original cleanup crew.

Of course while we are there, if we see a can or two we will grab them. Because whether it’s shells or aluminum, every bit we divert makes a difference. ♻️
