Help us keep Raleigh's July 4th celebration clean!
We'll be working throughout the festival grounds at the city's July 4th Celebration picking up litter, emptying trash and recycling containers as needed, and of course, diverting as much aluminum as possible from the landfill.
This is a fast-paced event with lots of walking, crowds, and opportunities to make a visible impact.
You have to be comfortable being on their feet for the duration of the shift and working outdoors in this NC summer heat.
Water, breaks, and plenty of appreciation will be provided.
This event is open to volunteers ages 18+.
There are two volunteer shifts available. While we'll do our best to honor preferences, volunteers may be assigned where help is needed most.
