Paul Simon @ Walnut Creek - Landfill Diversion Event (Pre & Post Show Pick)

Join us at Coastal Credit Union Music Park for a landfill diversion event!

Our mission is simple: divert as much aluminum as possible from the landfill by collecting cans throughout the parking lots before the show and during the post-show cleanup.

Volunteer Commitment

• Volunteers work approximately 2 hours total: one hour before the show and one hour immediately after the concert.
• By signing up, you are committing to both the pre-show and post-show collections.
• During the show, you'll get to relax on the lawn, enjoy the atmosphere, and wait until it's time for the post-show cleanup.

Confirmation Required
Because these are high-demand events with waitlists, we'll send a confirmation request 48 hours before the event. If we don't receive your confirmation by the deadline, your spot may be offered to a volunteer on the waitlist so we can ensure the event is fully staffed.

Minimum Volunteers
We must have at least 9 volunteers committed to both the pre-show and post-show shifts to support this event. If we do not reach that minimum, the event may be canceled.

A Few Things to Know

• This is a late-night event, and you'll probably smell like beer by the end... it comes with the territory. 🍻
• If you're running late after we've already entered the venue, we won't be able to come back out to let you in. (Sowwy.)
• Please do not ask Live Nation staff for assistance. They are not able to help with TGRC volunteer check-in or event logistics.
• Open to volunteers 16 years of age and older.
