North Raleigh Pick o’ the Litter

10 of us made a huge impact here in early December but there’s plenty more litter to pick. Stretches of safe, walkable roadways with wide sidewalks & grassy areas; parking lot edges; lower brush areas; larger wooded areas. We'll have multiple teams fan out over the area so you can choose which stretch you want to help rehab.

Please be on time for introductions & instructions. We’ll work a solid 2 hours then walk over to the Harris Teeter to wash up in their restrooms and enjoy a lunch they are providing free of charge in appreciation for our efforts. All supplies provided. Dress for the task & weather - closed toe shoes, long sleeves & pants, hats or hoods, layers. Our rain date will be Sunday, January 11. I’ll provide my cell to all registered attendees the day before the event in case you struggle to find us.
