WELCOME TO RAMAPO MOUNTAIN SINGLES (Active Single's 40+) MEET-UP GROUP!
NEW JERSEY'S ULTIMATE SINGLE'S MEET-UP GROUP, WHERE THE FUN NEVER STOPS!
We host HOT SINGLES PARTIES, FUN SOCIAL EVENTS and OUTDOOR ADVENTURES every month in North Jersey and the suburbs.
OUR EVENTS:
This is a fun and active group for singles interested in music, dining and outdoor adventures. We get together for hiking, biking, camping, kayaking, whitewater rafting, horseback riding, beach days, wineries and outdoor adventures. We attend food truck festivals, art & antique shows and car shows and only the BEST LIVE MUSIC tribute bands and OUTDOOR SUMMER CONCERTS series events in the local Northern New Jersey area. We meet for happy hour and for dinner at many of the wonderful restaurants in the local area. We get together for potluck on the beach, picnics in the park and BBQ's. You will be invited to exclusive VIP singles parties, speed dating events, movie nights, breweries, wineries, single's dance parties, networking events and anything else that looks like fun!

MEMBERSHIP REQUIREMENTS:
FACE PHOTO ON PROFILE (no pets, scenery, flowers, etc).
ADULTS ONLY....40's 50's 60's.
FIRST NAME ONLY ON YOUR PROFILE.
Please do NOT post your LAST NAME. Use an initial or something similar. This is to protect your privacy and for your safety.
RSVP POLICY:
Please be courteous and RSVP to the events you plan to attend.
If you cannot attend, please change your RSVP accordingly.
An accurate headcount is necessary for restaurant reservations, yacht cruises and other special events. It helps organizers, hosts and members to find you at events.
NO SHOW POLICY:
To maintain the quality and enjoyment of our events, members who RSVP are expected to show up. Repetitive failures to show up at an event will result in removal from the group.
Specific factual circumstances will, of course, be considered. Email the Organizer with an explanation within 24 hours of missing the event.
Please be considerate of other members and do not sign up for an event which you do not plan to attend. This is especially important if there is a wait-list and/or if the event involves a third-party (e.g. restaurant, riding stable, sports arena, concert venue, boat ride, etc.).
AT YOUR OWN RISK POLICY:
By joining this group, you acknowledge that you attend all events "at your own risk" and cannot hold Meet-Up, Organizers, Assistant Organizers, Event Hosts or Members liable for anything that happens on the way to, during, or after a MeetUp event.
Any accident, theft, injury, illness, relationship breakup, or other event as stated on the Meetup Agreement (https://www.meetup.com (https://www.meetup.com/))
that may occur is not the fault or responsibility of the Meetup Group, Organizer
and /or members. You assume all risks when attending a MeetUp Event.
PHOTOS:
By joining, you agree that photographs taken at events may be posted on the events page by members and organizers. This helps to market the group and lets members or potential members see the fun we had and encourages members to join us at the next event!
SEXUAL HARASSMENT/BULLYING/SLANDER:
Inappropriate conduct, including, without limitation, stalking, inappropriate touching and other such unwanted physical contact, inappropriate emails, texts, telephoning etc., will NOT be tolerated or condoned and will result in the immediate removal from the RAMAPO MOUNTAIN SINGLES Meet-Up Group. Additionally, "no" means "no" and a member who repeatedly pressures another member for dates, sex, etc., after having been told that his/her attention is unwelcome will result in immediate removal from the membership. Bullying, harassment, slandering of a member, host or organizer is taken very seriously and will not be tolerated under any circumstances and is grounds for immediate dismissal from the group and will be reported to Meet-Up headquarters for immediate action. All decisions by the Organizer of the **RAMAPO MOUNTAIN SINGLES **Meet-Up Group are final and not appeal-able.
BACKGROUND/CRIMINAL CHECKS:
Background/criminal checks are NOT performed on ANY group member. Please use your own best judgment and discretion when interacting with members within group events, including without limitation to, making arrangements to carpool with members of the Meet-Up Group with whom you do not know well.
SOLICITATION:
No soliciting on the Meet-Up discussion page is permitted on the comments section of the events page or on the discussion page of the Meet-Up Group or at an event, including but not limited to businesses for profit, sexual solicitation, apartments for rent, seeking an apartment/roommate or solicitation of other Meet-Up groups.
MEET-UP GROUP COST: There is a $2.00 Meet-Up Fee per event per person to be paid to the Meet-Up Host/Hostess upon arrival at each event. You may hand the Meet-Up fee to the host or put in the Meet-Up Collection Box upon arrival to each event. This minimal fee helps to offset the expenses incurred as a result of owning the Meet-Up Group (website fee), researching, posting and hosting events for members each week. You can also donate through the link on the Meetup Group Home page. If you miss a payment, you may double-pay at the next event.
