Details
For Labor Day weekend we're going for a scenic ride along the Raritan Canal. Starting in New Brunswick and ending in Princeton. After we get off the train at the Edison stop, we'll explore the history of the Ferrer Colony of that area - a Jewish anarchist agricultural settlement from the early 20th century.
From there, we'll stop for snacks and get on the canal path, taking a break midway and in Princeton you'll have the option to take the train straight back or camp in a local's backyard. On Monday we'll explore Princeton by bike and take the train back to Manhattan later in the afternoon.
No upfront cost to register, but donations are accepted.
