Let’s take a closer look at what’s going on in the waterways and fields of the Rancocas preserve. We will investigate how the surrounding environment affects what lives in the streams and meadows. Participants will set up field experiments such as ground level insect catchers and stream leaf bags. Using a variety of science tools, students will collect samples, test water, and observe what is found. This class is geared toward the hands-on science-minded thinker. Investigations will be mainly outdoors, so dress accordingly. Cost: (with a current Rancocas Nature Center membership): $72/per child for the 6-week session.
