How much do you love getting a letter in the mail? Let's give that enjoyment to someone else. Start your day off by doing some good in the world!
Join me for an easy morning of snail mail and coffee! Letters Against Isolation is an organization that helps connect communities through letter writing. They partner with Nursing Homes throughout the United States and Canada and volunteers send cards to residents. They actually have 4 nursing homes here in Maine that they work with! And we'll be sending cards to them!
I'll provide:
Stationary
Cards
Postcards
Pens
InspirationAnd I'll mail the cards afterwards! All you need to do is show up!
Never done anything like this? It's easy! I'll have some ideas but mostly you're just letting people know that someone in the world is thinking about them. A quick hello, a dad joke or a fun fact is all you need. Feel free to bring any of your own stationary, or cards you've had sitting around but never actually used. It's a great way to start your day and know you are making someone else smile.
