Hello! Kim here from the Colorado Big Hikes. I started this second group to have a place to post meetups outside of hiking and backpacking. I'm thinking game nights, polar plunges, general outings, and travel. It's a chance to do things outside of your comfort zone, meet new people, and experience the confidence boost and self-esteem you get when you overcome your fears.
As with my other group, the rules to be a member are very simple. Don't be a douche. If you're bragging all the time, if you're making other members uncomfortable, or just being a generally obnoxious person, then this group is not for you. The vibe is relaxed, chill, fun, and laid back. No arguments around politics or religion are allowed. We are all just here to have some fun.
Taking personal responsibility is a must. Some of the things that we do might have risks involved. Under no circumstances will I be held liable for injuries, pain, or death that might result from activities that I post. I'm not a trained leader. You must always be responsible for your own safety and comfort. Read the trip description carefully, do your own research, and make your choice accordingly.
