Nowadays embedded systems are very popular in the commercial market, however creating software isn’t as easy as it sounds. Cédric will guide through some best-practices which he learned while creating his open-sourcevideo surveillance system Kerberos.io (http://kerberos.io/).

How Raspberry PI and OpenHab helped me to build a cheap domotica system, even my kids can configure. This summer my kids and me, we designed our own domotica system. After a short introduction, you will be able to co-design your own house, that allows your daughter to configure the electricity in her own room.

Already since the release of the Raspberry Pi 2, Microsoft created a version of Windows 10 that could run on IoT devices. In this session we'll explore what Windows 10 IoT actually is, and learn how to deploy it on the Raspberry Pi. After that we'll see how you can write applications and leverage for example the GPIO pins of the Pi.
