Starkbierfest 2024 (Munich, Germany)

I met more Americans at Oktoberfest than I did in 6 years living in Germany! It's too commercial. Starkbierfest on the other hand, is a hidden gem, it's not that big -- just one tent, and it's mostly locals.

I'll be meeting a couple of my friends who live in Munich, and maybe a few will come down from Frankfurt.

...and this will be in early spring so maybe we spend a few days in the Austrian alps to snowboard and apres ski??

Anyway exact dates TBD since it is still so far off.
