“Intersections” (2024) - screening and talk about decolonialism and LGBT+ rights

During Stockholm Pride Week we invite you to @kafe44 to a screening of a short film “Intersections” (2024) by Indigenous of Russia @indigenousofrussia. Exploring the multifaceted discrimination faced by LGBTQ+ Indigenous people in Russia, “Intersections” ventures into territory previously unexplored by filmmakers and journalists working with other mediums. It shows stories of 4 individuals: Alexey, Nastina and Sasha, and Mira — from Buryat, Kalmyk and Tatar backgrounds respectively.

The screening will be followed by conversation on the topics of decolonialism and LGBTQ+ rights with activists from Feminist Anti-War Resistance (FAR). Participants are coming from cells in France, Italy, Finland and Sweden.
