Forest Therapy Walk

Details

Greetings fellow nature lovers,
Alnoba is a great place to do a Forest Therapy Walk.
For those who have been, it's an enchanted place.
You will need to sign up with Alnoba. They handle registrations and fees. I'm doing this to help Alnoba raise funds so your money goes to a good organization. Alnoba.com
This is a buggy time of year so wear long sleeve shirts and full length pants. A bug net is a good idea. If you use spray, please apply it before the walk begins. Bring drinking water. NO PETS!
These walks are done at a very slow pace. Expect to cover about a mile for the entire walk. There will be normal trail issues like roots, rocks and ruts, uneven terrain and hills.
These walks are done rain or shine unless there is lightning so please come prepared. There will be periods where we sit, lie down, or are still. This walk is mostly individual, not walking together. While walking we should be silent, curious and observant. You will see others during the walk. We will use a designated area during the walk so we should not move far from the start and end point. We are encouraged to leave the trail to get more intimate with nature. There will be a few sharing circles during this event. I ask that you slow your mind and body during this walk.
There is another event at Alnoba later that day. Please don't mix with that event or approach the main facility. We will meet in the parking lot and the porta John is the authorized bathroom facility. I was informed the 20 person event is sold out. This will most likely make it last over 3 hours.
