Oaklands Town Forest, Exeter

We'll meet at a small parking lot off Newfields Road. It's close to route 101. You can hear the noise from 101 once you get out of your vehicle.

It's about a 5 mile trail, not very hilly, but rocky with some roots, rocks and ruts on the trail. There's some large boulders scattered about. The trail turns south once we hit the power lines. We follow the power lines for a short while and head east back into the woods on a trail that links up with our start trail. It's a large loop trail. It's an easy hike.
