Winn Mountain, Lyndeborough, NH

Details
Greetings hikers,
This is a few miles west of Milford, more than an hour drive for most Rockingham county people. It's not too far from Purgatory Falls. I picked this because my brother Ken hikes it a lot. He says it's one of the nicer, easy hikes in that area. On a clear day there's a good view of Boston. Mnt. Monadnock is also viewable. He will lead the hike.
We'll meet at the Lyndeborough community center off Center road, or you can car pool with me from the Raymond area. I have room for 3, 4 if the 3 in the back don't mind being cozy. There's room at Winn trailhead for 4 cars so car pooling's essential. We'll coordinate the final car pool at the community center between 9:15 and 9:25.
Winn mntn is privately owned. The owner graciously allows hiking on his property.
There's the usual rocks, roots, ruts and bugs along with uneven footing along the trail. We go up and down the same trail. If the weather is cooperative and there is time, we may be able to kayak on Lake Zephyr in Greenfield. Ken has a few kayaks and a canoe at his home there. If we do that, it will be a long day.
Bring plenty of water, a snack, bug repellant and any allergy meds you may need. Be prepared for rain. If it's over 90 and humid, we'll cancel.
