Star Island volunteers

Greetings adventurers,
If you have the time and are adventurous, Star Island needs many volunteers to help them get the island and facilities ready for their summer season. I went last April and enjoyed it. They provide transport, room and board and the essentials. You'll need to stay overnight several nights. The island is large enough for a hike. There's lots of interesting things to see there. Here's the link if you're interested. It's a different, simpler world there. Good food and good people.
You need to sign up with them, not on this site. If you have questions, I can help. For those who are not into ground work or maintenance, they also do chair caning. They make their own power, have their own sewer system and water purification system. I'm going back in April or May. https://starisland.org/working/
