Burley Farms, Epping
Details
Greetings hikers,
Burley Farms is the Southeast land trust HQ location.
There is a wetland on the property that is nice to gaze at. We may see Herons that migrated back by now.
It is mildly hilly. Expect wet or muddy trails.
There are 2 miles of trails, some in woods. We'll hike the edge of a hay field some of the time. It's an easy hike. The hilly parts will raise your heart rate a bit.
There is plenty of parking, even EV power plugs. There's an active beaver dam. We can observe it for a while if the group wants to. Last year I saw a muskrat there. It's on North River Road in Epping.
