About us
Never heard of korfball before? That's okay, most people haven't before they try it!
Korfball is similar to netball and basketball but mixed-gender, friendly and social.
It's the perfect thing if you're looking to meet new friends and get active.
Who are RCT Comets?
- We are a new korfball club (Est. March 2026) and the only one in the South Wales Valleys.
This is the perfect time to try korfball. As a new club, there's a whole team learning a new sport together.
Everyone is welcome, no experience or sporting ability required and no age limit. Most of our members are currently 22-45 years old.
🗓️When and Where?📍
- We train Wednesdays 1830-2000 at Ysgol Bro Taf, CF37 4SF
We have matches on weekends during the season Oct - May and go to friendly outdoor tournaments over the summer.
We don't just play korfball, we have planned socials every month like bowling, bingo & board games. Plus often meet up casually for food & drinks.
So why not come try it out and meet our friendly group? Your first 3 sessions are free! You might find the hobby you never knew you needed.
