Dr. Alyssa’s passion for science and movement drove her to specialize in the areas of physical therapy where complex systems collide: hypermobility spectrum disorders, TMJD, and vestibular rehabilitation (dizziness, vertigo, and balance issues).

As someone who is hypermobile and has ADHD herself, Dr. Alyssa doesn't just understand these collisions from a textbook, she lives them. She knows firsthand how neurodivergent brains and bendy bodies navigate the world differently, especially when it comes to decreased body awareness and altered internal body signals.

In this talk, she will explore how these physical conditions overlap with neurodivergence, and why traditional physical therapy and medicine often need a rewrite. From needing different exercise cues to creating flexible routines that actually work with your executive function, Dr. Alyssa is dedicated to providing holistic, root-cause care that helps you move safely and reduce pain. During our time together, she will touch on these fascinating intersections, share practical tips, and eagerly answer your questions on these topics.
