This will be a two-part meeting at the Library. The talk at 5 pm will be in-person only with no recording. The talk at 6 pm (see further below) will be relayed on Zoom. Please feel free to come and go at any time.

5:00 pm (In-Library only): Studying Luc Van Hof's Slingshot Option Strategy - Don Brady

I was incredibly impressed watching Luc's outstanding Aeromir RoundTable video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDCCoZWWaTs , which presents his Slingshot strategy.

Let's go over the details of this strategy ourselves for everybody who can attend in person. It will be an excellent vehicle for all to see how a truly valuable and creative strategy works, including looking at Luc's trade-by-trade examples. We will start from the basics, answer all questions, look for the big picture, and get your opinions. It is in-person only to incentivize people to come to the Library. It will be a tutorial in realistic options trading!

This video got one of the highest ever viewer counts on Aeromir. We will try to cover all the twists and turns in this trade, including the greeks.

Luc will not be attending but was supportive when I checked with him. He is a famous hedge fund manager formerly with Morgan Stanley. His original ENIGMA trading systems traded index vehicles directly. What he has done now is reinvented his trading implementation with options. This accomplishment has implications for converting other conventional trading systems to use options!

6 pm: Tactical Investing - Find, Test, Filter and Blend the Best/Safest Strategies - Don Brady
This part of the meeting will also be centered at the Library, but will also be on Zoom via Aeromir.

The new way to invest is to do it yourself, using online results backed up by published scientific research, as well as neutral back-testing, which you can rerun or customize (with caveats) yourself.
