Rendezvous with the Paigahs

Details
The Paigah nobility were founded in the 18th century by Abul Fateh Khan Tegh Jung Bahadur, said to be a descendant of the second Caliph of Islam. They were second to the Nizams in terms of influence and order. The Paigah Tombs / Maqhbara Shams al-Umara, an architectural marvel, is an amalgam of Mughal, Greek, Persian, and Deccani style of architecture. It is famous for the latticework, stucco, and intricate geometric and floral carvings.
This walk will take you around the fascinating historic monument, whose all-pervasive silence has a calming effect on the nerves.
