🎤 Talk: Who Does Your Model Represent?
We’re excited to welcome Jacqueline Berger, Cyber Defense Center Analyst at Raiffeisen Bank International AG, Data Scientist, and board member of Women in AI Austria.
Jacqueline’s career journey took her from mastering the depths of petroleum engineering to redefining her path in data science and cybersecurity. After completing her Bachelor’s in Informatics with a focus on Data Science, she transitioned into the IT industry, where she now combines analytical expertise with a passion for ethical, impactful technology.
A dedicated advocate for diversity in STEM, Jacqueline actively supports female and minority empowerment.
In her talk, she will explore the often-overlooked question of representation in machine learning models—who they serve, who they miss, and the implications this has for fairness and inclusivity.
