This session offers a comprehensive introduction to CSS Preprocessors—what they are, how they work, and how to integrate them into your web apps. You'll gain an understanding of their distinctive syntax, features, and how they differ from standard CSS.

Ideal for large-scale web development, Progressive Web Apps (PWAs), and enterprise-level applications, this presentation will cover key benefits of using preprocessors, best practices, and common pitfalls to avoid. We’ll also explore how preprocessors can bring structure and clarity to your project’s styling architecture.

To wrap it up the demo we'll deploy a preprocessor-powered project.

Doors open 15 minutes before. The elevators will work only then. Come to the 16th floor.

Parking
There is partial parking validation. If you enter the garage attached to the Omni (entrance on Brazos Street) after 5pm and leave before 10pm, you will be given a parking slip that reduces your fee to $8 flat for the duration of your stay within that time frame.
