CSS is evolving faster than ever, introducing features that make our interfaces more adaptable, accessible, and expressive — often without a single line of JavaScript. Some of these tools are already production-ready, while others are just beginning to gain browser support, but all of them open up new creative possibilities for front-end developers.

In this session, we’ll explore five powerful additions to the CSS toolkit:

• env() safe area insets for modern device layouts
• text-wrap for beautifully balanced typography
• field-sizing for smarter, more responsive form inputs
• interpolate-size for smooth and natural size transitions
• scroll-snap-type for intuitive scroll-based interactions

You can park in the building garage for just $8.00 after 5pm and leave before 10pm (validation parking tickets will be distributed)!
