Redux sucks. And why I still use it.
This talk is a love-hate shoutout to Redux: why it kind of sucks... and why I still keep coming back for more. We will start with a quick origin story and the core primitives that have barely changed since day one, then draw a line in the sand that Redux is not a beginners' tool and talk about the learning curve and when you should (and should not) reach for it. Along the way we will dig into first principles and where responsibilities really belong (validation, business logic, side effects, error handling), before turning to Redux Toolkit: what it fixes, what it does not, and how to use it to get a project off the ground. You will leave with a practical sense of when Redux is actually worth the trouble, and how to suffer with it a lot less when you do.

Doors open 15 minutes before. The elevators will work only then. Come to the 16th floor.

Parking
There is partial parking validation. If you enter the garage attached to the Omni (entrance on Brazos Street) after 5pm and leave before 10pm, you will be given a parking slip that reduces your fee to $8 flat for the duration of your stay within that time frame.
