Six months ago, the community asked for a design system, routing solution, and testing framework—now they're here. This presentation will walk through the 2026 stack featuring React Router for seamless navigation, Chakra UI for accessible component design, and Cypress for end-to-end testing confidence, alongside the existing TypeScript, Redux Toolkit, and Vite foundation. Bishop will demonstrate how this opinionated stack bridges the gap between minimal starter templates and production applications by providing real-world patterns for authentication, state management, api design, SEO and more. Beyond the technical tour, attendees will learn about open contribution opportunities through curated GitHub issues designed to help developers practice on a realistic codebase. Doors open 15 minutes before. The elevators will work only then. Come to the 16th floor.
Parking
There is partial parking validation. If you enter the garage attached to the Omni (entrance on Brazos Street) after 5pm and leave before 10pm, you will be given a parking slip that reduces your fee to $8 flat for the duration of your stay within that time frame.
