The format for this meetup will be almost like a mini-series, where each topic will be discussed for 12-15 minutes and add up to a little over an hour of time. In total, there will be five talks given that should provide a breadth of knowledge to anyone working with React.

"Browser tools to aid development and debugging" by Nik Krimm
React provides rich browser plugins that aid in the inspection, debugging and development of React components. This talk will provide an overview of the tools, and how to use them to improve your daily workflow.

"Zero to Prod" by Nicky Marino
If you’re an experienced programmer but new to React, there are a few hurdles to go from bare repository to a full app with CI/CD. A Python developer will share his perspective and learnings as he builds a simple app into a deployed pipeline.

"TDD in React" by Nicky Marino and Nik Krimm
Test-Driven Development (TDD) involves writing a failing test before writing the code to make it pass. TDD encourages simple designs and inspires confidence, as well as guiding you to more modular, flexible code. How does this technique apply to React, and what tooling is available? We’ll write a simple feature, test-first to demonstrate.

"State management in React 18" by Tom Michalik
As your project grows, the need to share state across your React components becomes apparent. Due to the growth in popularity of React, a few strong candidates have emerged to handle all of your state needs.

"Getting data off the server and into React" by Jack Thorne
Data comes in all sizes, and you will build React applications to integrate with many different platforms. Let's talk about data and how to get it. How will you handle data formats, and how do they get to the browser. I will cover various data formats for sending data and displaying it once it is in React.
