Inspire11 + React Chicago Summer Party 2022
Details
We're back to having our 3rd annual Summer Party at Inspire11's brand new offices at 1 N. Dearborn St. Come help us inaugurate the new offices with the first ever React Chicago meetup there. We'll be providing multiple presentations, a chance to network with others, take part in the provided food, beverages, & games and generally have fun as we celebrate another summer's end! Should be an awesome time!
We'll be updating the list of speakers and talks as they come in so please check back often. Also, if you would like to give a short talk at this event, please contact me (Bill Gloff) to have me put you on the list. Thank you!
Talks
--------
* "**Building Component Libraries using Bit.dev**" by Louis Sullivan
UI component libraries can get large and force devs to import/update a monolithic library to get the new shared component they want. Dev teams are often only focused on their components. How can they maintain their autonomy in building their application but still reuse components?
Learn how Bit.dev can help dev teams to version and isolate components in their application. The Bit components are tested, built, packaged, and imported separately from each other.
Louis Sullivan is a Software Engineer at Inspire11, focused primarily on modern front-end development in React. Outside of work, he enjoys climbing, snowboarding and photography.
------
* "How to Use Typescript with React" by Yves Baseke
Yves is currently an Enterprise Architect for Inspire11.
------
* "A Fresh Look at the Fresh Framework" by Simon Knight
Simon is an up and coming programmer learning all the time.
More talk info coming soon...
Hope to see everyone there!
9/13/22 UPDATE: We initially advertised that the talks would be on the rooftop and unfortunately we will not be able to do that. There might be a chance for attendees to go up there to network with others but the main event will be inside the office. Sorry about the change of plans!
