Using Redux to manage our application state is a good practice. It allows for a more structured approach when we want to manage our app data. The downside is that a lot of boilerplate code is added to our project. It makes it cumbersome and repetitive to use Redux.

Dan Abramov, creator of React, once said: “Why do I have to touch three files to get a simple feature working?” Why indeed.

The Redux team realised that there could be a better way, an easier way. They created an add-on to Redux, that would enforce some best practices and simplify the code. They call this new library “Redux Toolkik”. To add a new feature, we now just need to modify a single file, instead of three. Wow!

We will also demonstrate some of the new ways to work classless with Redux Hooks.
