**🎤 Why I built my own React styling library**
Styling React components is tricky enough, but open source brings a whole new level of pain. In this talk, we'll dive into the messy world of styling open source React components using my own project, emoji-picker-react, as a case study. We'll explore the challenges of server-side rendering, battling with bundlers, and the eternal struggle to balance developer experience with end-user performance. I'll break down common styling approaches and why they often fall short in the open source world, ultimately leading to my decision to create (yet another!) CSS-in-JS library. Expect some real-world examples, a bit of live coding, and maybe even a little controversy. Come ready to share your own styling struggles and opinions!

With over a decade of experience orchestrating full-stack solutions, Sagi Yosef knows his way around the \*.js that matters. He’s passionate about building Microfrontend architectures that scale both horizontally and vertically - because why stop at one direction? React is his favorite game, and he plays to win (this also applies to any board game). Always up for a challenge (or a good JavaScript debate - optimization is his soft spot), he’s open to impactful collaborations that push boundaries.
👩‍💻 **Nirit Segal, Javascripter @ Palo Alto Networks**
Nirit claims to be saved by JavaScript from .NET hell. With over a decade of coding experience, her career began as a FullStack developer, yet she’s always been drawn to the adventures of Frontend Infrastructure. She favors the flavor of Vanilla and recently became a fan of typed JavaScript. Her latest obsession? Learning Chrome Extension architectures—one of the reasons she joined Palo Alto ;)
