-- New React APIs - Inácio Schweller - Fanatics
Starting from version 16.3, React introduced new APIs. Finally they introduced an “official” context and much more. In this talk, Inacio will give an overview of what just arrived and what can be achieved with React new APIs.

Inácio Schweller is a Software Engineer at Fanatics, where he already dealt with features like payment gateways, Cloud automation, React components and Node.js services. Currently, he consider himself a React Ninja. Inacio has also a strong math and design background from his prior studies at Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.

-- Low Maintenance Experimentation in React - Akshay Buddiga - Fanatics
A common frustration of front-end A/B experimentation is the dev overhead in setting up the experiment before testing, and in teardown after a winner has been determined. Is it possible to streamline this process to maintain a simple codebase and increase developer efficiency? In this talk, we will explore how Fanatics uses React and some of its built-in features to create components flexible enough for experimentation with minimal maintenance overhead.

Akshay Buddiga is a Senior Software Engineer on the Iris front-end team at Fanatics, where he focuses on the platform and features for A/B experimentation across Fanatics' Triple Crown e-commerce sites. In this role, he has helped develop experimentable React components, and Node.js services to enable coordinated server-side experiments in a microservice architecture. Prior to Fanatics, Akshay worked in product at a San Francisco-based startup, and studied engineering at Duke and Stanford University.
