⚛️ THE TALKS
⚡️ Optimising React render performance with hooks
by Cameron Pavey
In this talk we will take a look at a simple React application with some common mistakes that result in unnecessary performance issues. After showing the impact of these mistakes, we will then work through fixing them by leveraging React hooks where appropriate to make sure that there are no wasted renders.
Cameron Pavey is Rex’s Full Stack Technical Lead for their product, Alfie. From Melbourne, Cameron will be flying up for this event and to connect with the ReactBris community. You can read some more from Cameron over on Medium or Twitter.
