Join us for our React London 2017 Conf pre-party with fun React workshops for beginners and advanced React coders alike, and some awesome lightning talks. Pizza and drinks on the house, of course!
(Don't forget to bring your own laptop for the workshops)
• 5:45 PM - 6:00 PM: Doors opening;
• 6:00 PM - 6:45 PM: Lightning talks;
• 6:45 PM - 8:15 PM: Workshops;
• 8:15 PM - 8:45 PM: Follow ups from workshops;
• 9:00 PM - 9:15 PM: Closing; Move on to a bar
You'll be able to choose from three workshops. The topics are:
• Beginners: Building a vote system with React / Redux / Redux-thunk
• Intermediate: Building a vote system with React / Redux / Redux-observable using websocket
• Advanced: Building a vote system using ELM
During the open-mic you will get a chance to present your thoughts and your solutions, reflect on React.js, or present your own project.

In this lightning talk Ken is going to show you the awesome Spectacle library for building presentations in React. Furthermore he's going to talk about things that were introduced in the latest version, and things to come.
Michele Bertoli ( https://twitter.com/MicheleBertoli ) - jest-styled-components
Michele has recently released a small library that allows you to seamlessly use Styled Components with Jest's snapshot testing. In this lightning talk he's going to demo it.
