VertX is an event-driven and non-blocking framework to build Reactive systems. It's very lightweight, but enables many powerful mechanisms like a distributed event bus, clustering, etc.

In this workshop we'll be discovering some of these features while we build a system that does automatic trading on a stock broker server. Stock updates will be signaled to our server, and we try to decide whether to buy or sell our stocks.
