HackJam Workshop Intro to Kubernetes

During this free Hackjam at Fourcast, we'll discuss some of Kubernetes' basic concepts, architecture and the problems they solve.

This introduction will provide you with a solid understanding of the origin and the building blocks for Kubernetes. You'll learn about the automatisation of the containers deployment, the caling and more.

By the end of the evening you'll be able to:

• Set up and access a Kubernetes cluster using minikube
• Run applications on the deployed Kubernetes environment
• Access and scale up the deployed applications

A typical HackJam workshop looks like this:

6:30pm: Time to charge batteries with some food and drinks!
7pm: Start of the coding challenge
-9:&(ish: Coding with the help of the Hackages mentors
9:30pm: Demo and end of the evening
