Hi everyone,

You probably read the group description and the title of this Meetup and wondered how they are related. Let me explain: Last time, we discussed using AI in your favorite editor for React and development in general. We also explored how you can leverage AI tools in Vim. After showcasing it, some attendees were interested in getting started with Vim because they saw how fast their colleagues were with it. So, we decided to organize a Meetup about it.

The goal of this event is to provide an introduction to Vim, including where and how to start, and what benefits you can expect. If you want to participate practically, bring your laptop with you. Depending on the needs of the audience, we will either do hands-on activities or provide demonstrations.

While mainly focusing on getting started with Vim, everyone from novice to expert is welcome to join. You might have a great tip to share or learn something new, even if you've been a Vim user for several years.
