Design System in React and Module Federation 🚀

Talk 1: Design System
Design systems contain reusable UI components that help teams build complex, durable, and accessible user interfaces across projects. Since both designers and developers contribute to the UI components the design system serves as a bridge between disciplines. We will cover why we need a design system, why Storybook is so powerful, and what it looks like in Forsta.
About the speaker:
Megan O'Keeffe is a Senior Front-End Developer & CSS-Specialist at Forsta with more than 10 years of experience in frontend and graphic design.

Talk 2: Module Federation
Module Federation is a technology that was introduced as a part of Webpack 5. It enables easier integration of different applications at runtime and gives us a more practical way of building micro-frontends than we’ve had before. We will take a look at how we are leveraging this across our Forsta applications.
About the speaker:
Einar Paul Qvale is the Engineering Lead – Frontend at Forsta and has been working within front-end development for about 20 years. He enjoys leveraging tech for building great user experiences, while also solving interesting problems and building quality into the products that we have been creating for many years (and many more to come).
