Our April 2023 event is a hybrid meeting with a Zoom meeting plus the IN PERSON event.

7:05 - 8:00pm: Mike Mathew — "Get Started with React Native"

Bring your laptop and get ready to fire up a brand new React Native project. This could be the start of the new app you've been thinking about! If you are an experienced React Native dev, we value your wisdom. Teach us!

Mike Mathew is a career-switcher who used to teach drum line and now helps the world have better internet websites. His day job is working as a front end developer at Text-Em-All in Frisco, TX. By night Mike is playing with his children, learning more about front end lore, or building the Presto Assistant app to help fine arts teachers. He helps organize the ReactJS Dallas meetup where he enjoys connecting the Dallas community together over Code, Pizza, and Fun Projects.

We will be at the Text-Em-All office in Frisco, TX in SUITE 900. Follow the signs — the entrance is on the side of the building facing the Dallas North Tollway. There will be pizza and non-alcoholic drinks. Wear a mask if you feel more comfortable that way!
