What we’re about
Are you over 40 and craving deeper conversations, personal growth, and a supportive circle of new friends? This book club is a safe, welcoming space where we explore mental health through thoughtful non-fiction books — and learn together how to take better care of our emotional well-being.
We meet once or twice a month to read and discuss books that offer insight, hope, and real tools for mental wellness. Topics range from anxiety and boundaries to self-compassion and resilience.
Each meeting is guided by me — I choose the book, provide gentle prompts and questions, and lead a group discussion that’s both meaningful and respectful. You’re welcome to share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with — this is about connection, not pressure.
This group is for you if you:
Are seeking emotional support in a friendly, non-clinical environment
Enjoy personal development and learning through books
Want to meet other thoughtful, kind adults navigating similar life experiences
Prefer small group discussions in a safe, private setting
A $10 contribution per meeting helps cover Meetup fees and supports the ongoing organization of the group. This also helps ensure thoughtful participation and allows me to provide resources and materials.
If cost is an issue, please don’t hesitate to message me privately — everyone deserves to feel included.
Let’s read, grow, and heal — together. First meeting details will be posted soon. I can’t wait to meet you.
