February Book: Homesick for another world by Ottessa Moshfegh

Hello everyone,

Our February book will be Homesick for Another World by Ottessa Moshfegh.
A New York Times Book Review Notable Book of 2017.

Please read the book if you are coming (this seems obvious, but we have had people who hadn't read the book at all, it will be difficult to enjoy the discussions if you don't, it's ok if you haven't finished it!)

For newcomers, our event flow goes like this:
1. Get your seat and order drinks/food
2. Greetings and Introductions
3. Start the discussion (little summary of the story, characters etc)
4. Questions, answers, more questions...
5. Average score
6. Free talk

❗ Venue Change: ❗Bunkyo Civic center
Our Bookclub has always been free, but our usual pub venue can get quite noisy which affects the quality of our discussions.
We will be hosting the event at the Bunkyo Civic Centre, where we can reserve a room for 2000 yen.
To cover the fee, we are asking our attendees to contribute about 100 yen each, which is cheaper than a drink at the pub.
Once the weather gets warmer, we will move back to our usual Canal Cafe/Yoyogi park☀️
